On the afternoon of Friday, April 10, 2009 John Bryant, his wife Kori and newborn baby girl Olivia were caught in the direct path of a destructive F3 tornado in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The tornado claimed the lives of Kori and Olivia, leaving John critically injured. The fund was set up by friends and relatives of the Bryants. It is designed to help John with medical expenses and the costs of memorial services for his late wife and daughter.
